The Mumbai Blasts

Looks like I'm not the only one who's skeptical of our involvement. In this report, Dawn cites a Council on Foreign Relations report, which expresses doubt that the ISI was behind the Mumbai blasts because, as one expert says, backing attacks on India would be counterproductive for Musharraf, who genuinely wants better relations with India. You can access the original report here.

By the way, if it does turn out that we weren't involved, the Indian government and police need to apologize for accusing us and telling us they had evidence. Whipping up nationalist feelings by throwing around allegations that aren't true, then claiming there is evidence for said allegations, is not conducive to the peace process. The peace process, let's remember, is the responsiblity of both sides, not just one.
