Stop the presses!

I disagree with a Daily Times editorial! I DISAGREE WITH A DAILY TIMES EDITORIAL! This is unbelievable. This has never happened before. I feel we here at fiverupees should throw a party or something.

In short, they castigate Younis Khan for saying he didn't want to be a dummy captain. First of all, they really should understand that Younis was made captain again, so it would help to editorialize on the situation as it was yesterday, not day before yesterday. You would think a newspaper would understand that.

Secondly, Younis' "dummy captain" comment had nothing whatsoever to do with him wanting to be captain even with Inzi in the team, as the Daily Times alleges. They clearly have no idea of how much of a team-man he is. From my reading of it, it was a combination of (a) Faisal Iqbal being included without his consultation, (b) being told by a peon that Shahrayar was busy in a meeting so he couldn't see him immediately, and (c) a lack of support from three players in particular, Razzaq, Afridi and Shoaib.

Also, the Daily Times' jackass-in-residence, M.U. Haq, says Richie Benaud is a bigot and a racist. Richie Benaud, the most respected man in cricket. Alrighty, then.
